leg&go Downhill Bike Add-on for the Balance Bike 3in1
WHAT THIS FITS
An attachment for the leg&go frame
This is not a standalone bike. It attaches to the leg&go Balance Bike 3in1, so you will need that frame for it to work.

Do not have the bike yet?
Everything ships together, free across Canada and the contiguous USA.
A balance bike has no brake. Children stop with their feet, which works fine on the flat and works a lot less well on a slope. This attachment gives the bike its first brake, and somewhere to put their feet while they use it.
This is an attachment, not a bike. It fits the leg&go Balance Bike 3in1 frame and nothing else, so you will need that bike for it to work.
What you are getting
Worth saying plainly
This attachment exists so a child can go faster downhill. That is the point of it, and it is good fun. We would put a helmet on them and stay within arm's reach on anything steeper than a gentle slope, at least until you have both seen how the brake behaves on your hill. More on our Safety First page.
What it fits and what it does not
This fits the leg&go Balance Bike 3in1 and nothing else. It is not compatible with balance bikes from other makers, and it does not work on its own.
The bike is sold separately. If you do not already have one, add it alongside this and both will arrive together.
It is not compatible with the Pedal or Tricycle attachments at the same time. One configuration at a time, swapped when you want.

Materials and origin
Made by Shaman Inventions Ltd in Latvia, in the European Union, in the same workshop as the bike it attaches to.
leg&go state a 2 year warranty on this attachment. The bike itself carries 5 years, so the two are not the same and we would rather you knew that up front.
Certification information is supplied by the manufacturer. Email us and we will request the documents on your behalf.
Fitting and care
The attachment fits to the rear of the balance bike and instructions are in the box. Because it is a brake, check that it engages properly before the first ride and then again now and then, in the same way you would check the brakes on your own bike.
Wipe the wood with a damp cloth and dry it. Keep it indoors between rides, because prolonged damp is what shortens the life of a lacquered plywood part.
Check the fixings every few months and after any hard use. Follow the manufacturer's manual for fitting and any age guidance.
Shipping and returns
Free shipping across Canada and the contiguous USA. Orders leave us in 1 to 5 business days.
No customs duty to either country.
30 days to return it from the day it arrives. Return shipping is paid by you unless the fault is ours, and there is no restocking fee.
Not sure whether they are ready for this one? Tell us how they handle a slope on the balance bike now and we will give you a straight answer. hello@truelittlenorth.com
