KCL, accredited by KOLAS, Korea's national laboratory accreditation body. Tested 5 to 24 June 2024.
Tested to Korea's Children's Products Common Safety Standard and the floor mat part of the Safety Confirmation standard. Result: pass. Lead, cadmium, eight heavy metals, seven phthalates, formaldehyde and organotins were not detected in the cover materials tested.

KATRI Testing and Research Institute, reports SRQC26-00000398 (PE foam) and SRQC26-00000396 (PU cover), issued 21 April 2026.
Seven volatile organic compounds, including toluene and formaldehyde, measured below the limits of the Korean Safety Confirmation standard (Annex 2, Part 4) for both samples. Ggumbi submitted these for quality control.

What the documents are
Different kinds of paperwork
Confirms a children's product meets the Korean safety standard for its type, under Korea's Special Act on the Safety of Children's Products.
Declares a product meets the applicable EU safety requirements. This is the document behind the CE mark.
Certifies one named product against children's product safety rules. Issued per product rather than per brand.
Third party testing. A certificate states a conclusion, a test report shows the work behind it.
The Riga Wood ECOlogical certificate in the climbers section is an environmental certification. It assesses the plywood against an environmental standard, separately from safety.

Certification varies by product and by manufacturer. Some items we sell hold several of the certifications above, some hold one, and some hold none at all. We are not going to pretend otherwise, and nothing on this page should be read as a claim about our full catalogue.
