Most nursery furniture solves one stage and then sits in the garage. A cot works until they climb out of it. A play pen works until they are too big for it. A floor mat works until they can roll off the edge.

This is a bumper bed that changes as they do. A 210 x 120cm foam base with soft 50cm walls that hold a newborn safely, then come off and become a child's sofa and table when the walls are no longer the point. Made in Korea. The play room only, the sofa cover and cube cover are sold separately.

50cm walls, 5cm of mat, and Velcro instead of zips The walls stand 50cm, high enough to hold a baby who has learned to roll. The mat under them is 5cm thick. The panels fasten with Velcro rather than zips, so there is no zip pull for small fingers to find.

13 layers, heat compressed, no glue in the build 13 layers of non-crosslinked PE, bonded by heat compression rather than adhesive. The high density is what stops the foam collapsing into a permanent dent where your child always sits.



The walls come off and become furniture When the guards stop earning their place, they convert into a child's sofa and table, and the base stays on as a play mat. That is the difference between a purchase that lasts a year and one that lasts several.

Quieter for the flat below Impact noise through the floor was measured with the mat down and without it, by the Korea Noise and Vibration Technology Institute under KOLAS accreditation. If you are in an apartment, this is the feature you will notice first.

Crumbs and spills wipe straight off The surface is a coated synthetic leather rather than fabric, so it is water resistant in everyday use. One damp cloth and it is done, with no seams for food to work into.

KC Safety Confirmation Certificates CB021F001-6002 and CB024F001-6001. Korea Conformity Laboratories found no detection of lead, cadmium or volatile organic compounds.



Floor impact noise, measured Tested by the Korea Noise and Vibration Technology Institute under KOLAS accreditation, comparing light and medium impacts with and without the mat in place.


VOC testing by SGS and FITI Tested by SGS for toluene, MEK and DMF, and by the FITI Testing and Research Institute for toluene and formaldehyde. Passes below the standard limits.

The core is a 13 layer non-crosslinked PE foam formed by heat compression. No glue or adhesive is used to bond the layers. The cover is a coated synthetic leather.

Ggumbi Co., Ltd. make this in Korea. Assembly and care

No tools. The mats lay out and the walls fasten with Velcro, so it goes together and comes apart in minutes. That also means you can move it between rooms, or take the walls off for a while and put them back. Follow the instructions manual for placement, clearances and any age guidance.

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. The coated surface does not absorb, so nothing needs to soak. Avoid solvents and abrasive pads, since the coating is the layer doing the work.

Flat floor

Anti slip pads need an even surface. Thick pile rugs let the frame rock.

Clear the edges

Keep climbable furniture away, and check what a standing child can reach over.

Fit the band first

Band to the connector on the inside, then the mat. This is what stops gaps opening.

Still supervise

A playpen buys minutes, not permission to leave the room. See Safety First.

Before you buy

Questions we get asked

Does the playpen come with the mat?

No. They are sold separately and sized to pair. The playpen is the fence, the Licoco mat is the floor.

Which size do I need?

200 × 140cm takes one Licoco mat, 200 × 280cm takes two. The table above has the footprints in feet.

Will it slide on hardwood?

The connectors carry anti slip pads with a wide contact area. On the larger layout the anti loosening band makes a noticeable difference.

Can a toddler open the door?

The door uses a double lock button that has to be gripped and held rather than pushed.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Neither the PE frame nor the mat surface absorbs spills.
